Dr Debasis Bairagi is a consultant Ophthalmologist. Trained in AIIMS, New Delhi, he has an experience of 23 years. Areas of specialisation include vitreo retina, uvea, paediatric ophthalmology and cataract.
He has worked as a consultant Vitreoretinal surgeon at Susrut Eye Foundation and Research Centre, Kolkata from 1999-2005. Thereafter, he worked as Chief Vitreoretinal Surgeon at Suryadaya Eye Centre in technical collaboration with LVPEI at CMRI Kolkata from 2005 to 2011. At present he is the chairman of Second Sight Southend Eye Centre, Baruipur since 2011. He is also a visiting consultant at Apollo medical Centre, Gariahat, Kolkata.
